About Aurora Health Care

At Aurora Health Care, we are fortunate to be in the quality-of-life business. We help people live well. That’s our purpose, and it drives everything we do as an integrated not-for-profit health care provider serving communities throughout eastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Aurora began in 1984 when two longstanding Milwaukee hospitals, St. Luke's Medical Center and Good Samaritan Medical Center, affiliated to become Aurora Health Care. With a single vision of finding better ways to provide health care, our new organization grew as other hospitals, medical groups and health care providers who shared our vision joined us.

Today we serve more than 90 communities throughout eastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, with 15 hospitals, more than 150 clinics and more than 70 pharmacies. We strive to offer services that are close to home, and help make each community we serve healthier.
