About Independent Care Health Plan
Since 1994 Independent Care Health Plan (iCare) has provided quality health care benefits to Southeast Wisconsin’s low income & special needs population. We are currently the largest provider of health care services for people with special needs in the State of Wisconsin offering a comprehensive health & social services program for individuals ages 19 and older with special needs who receive both Medicaid and SSI benefits through a variety of programs: a Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan, a Family Care Partnership program (designed to keep older adults out of nursing homes), a BadgerCare Plus product, and a Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug plan.
