About Sendik's Food Markets
Sendik's is a family-owned company known throughout the Milwaukee community for its quality food products and exceptional customer service. It started with a horse-drawn produce wagon in 1926, and has grown to soon-to-be 11 stores with more than 1,450 total associates. Now led by the third generation of Balistreris, Sendik's provides its customers with the best grocery shopping experience, period. Sendik's was recognized for its operation excellence in 2009 when it was named the Wisconsin Grocer Association's 'Grocer of the Year' Award. In 2012, the local grocer was named a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Top Workplace and was the BizTimes Milwaukee Regional Spirit Award winner.
